A hand picked Daucus flower, also known as a “Wild Carrot” that has been copper plated onto a river stone.
The Daucus family is a flower that is very abundant in the Netherlands, many even consider it a pest. If you have biked along patches of green, you have most likely seen it’s incredibly structured stems and clusters of flowers. In this piece only the part that holds the flowers was used, however even this small part creates a new world for its inhabitant. A small human swings between the two stems, it is up to you to imagine what they see.
